Last night your 7th grade volleyball regained their winning swagger with a decisive victory over the Orioles of Longfellow Middle School winning all 3 sets. With tremendous crowd support, the team closed out its regular season home schedule undefeated going 5 and 0. The team was led by Molly Hasenbush, Sloane Jeserig & Paisley Padilla with timely and monster serves. Amazing net play was displayed by Elliot Boettcher, Allie Hatchell, Natalie Kalinowski, Logan Schmeling and Emma Chmielewski literally set the team up for success with precision placement of the ball. Monumental kills were made by Annabelle Laundry, Elly Ferron, Paisley Padilla & Logan Schmeling. The stout defense was led again by Michelle Leiner, Maya Filipovic, Marley Thompson and Emily Hansen, who seemed to be everywhere on the court at the perfect time! The team is an incredible 11 and 1 losing only 3 sets the entire season thus far! Thank you to all the fans that came out to support this amazing team this year. The team will take their game on the road next week for their final 2 games.
We’d like to wish a Happy Birthday today to Jackson S. and Izabella S. and tomorrow to Simon D., Sanjana K. and Emma P. We hope you have a great day.
